COVID-19 + Delivery Impacts

Looking after the health and wellbeing of our team and customers is our top priority. We’ve taken extra measures in the packaging and shipping of your SakeBoxes.

Our courier partners Sendle and Australia Post remain operational. As essential services, our couriers are following the guidelines of the Australian government and health department and the strictest hygiene measures.

You can have peace of mind with contactless delivery. To minimise the risk of contracting or spreading coronavirus, all SakeBoxes will no longer require a signature for delivery. We encourage you to leave us delivery instructions in the Order Notes at Checkout.

Please note that COVID-19 measures are impacting delivery times. We are all working hard to get your SakeBoxes to you in a timely manner.

How long will delivery take?

Standard Shipping:

Once shipped, delivery takes

3 to 8 business days to most major cities in Australia.
7 to 10 business days to Western Australia, Northern Territory and Northern Queensland.

Express Shipping:

1 to 4 business days to major cities in Australia.

Can SakeBoxes be sent to a PO box or parcel locker?

Our courier deliveries require a physical street address. Unfortunately our courier partner can’t deliver to post offices, PO boxes, locked bags, parcel lockers or parcel collect locations.

Is Oh! Sake available in my country?

To maintain high customer service levels, we currently only ships to Australia.
If you would like us in your country, drop us a line! We’d love to hear from you.

GENERAL

How do I store my Sake?

To keep you sake fresh as—, pop it in the fridge for storage until you’re ready to sip and enjoy. Make sure it’s not exposed to light or heat.

The Toji (Master Brewer) recommend drinking your sake within a year of its brewing.

What if I'm unhappy with my SakeBox?

Don’t worry, we’ve got your back.

We believe in providing a risk-free Sake tasting experience. If you have problems placing your order, delivery or are not completely satisfied with your SakeBox, please contact us and we will attempt to resolve your concerns.

I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?

Yes. You can request a refund anytime before the cut-off period and before we commence delivery.

A percentage of every SakeBox purchase goes towards supporting the Wilderness Society, a great cause that is very close to our hearts. The Wilderness Society works to support the living world that makes all life possible.

MEMBERSHIPS

What Sakes will I receive?

Your membership gives you exclusive access to sample hundreds of Sakes from different breweries all over Japan. We feature a new Sake every month giving you a chance to taste different Sakes every time.

When do I get my Monthly SakeBox?

We send your SakeBox on the 15th of the month.

Once shipped, delivery takes:

3 to 8 business days to most major cities in Australia.
7 to 10 business days to Western Australia, Northern Territory and Northern Queensland.

When will I be charged for my membership?

You will be charged for your first SakeBox once you place your order at Checkout.

Regular billing is charged monthly on the same day you signed up.

Can I order multiple subscriptions?

Of course, you can.

Simply change the quantity of the subscription you require in the Cart and go through Checkout as normal.

Can I order a subscription as a gift?

But of course!

You can order a Gift Subsciption to be sent to your lucky recipient for a fixed term of your choosing.

Make sure you let us know who to send it to in the shipping address.

Can I specify an end date for my membership?

You can arrange a fixed-term membership by specifying details during Checkout. Simply add a note to your order details. Alternatively you can treat yourself to a Gift Subscription and choose your term.

You can also contact us at any time and set an end date for your SakeBox Club membership.

How do I pause or cancel my membership?

Your membership can be paused or cancelled at any time by contacting us via kanpai@sakebox.com.au or through your Account page.

Can I place larger orders for corporate gifts, wholesale or events?

Sure can. You can mix and match as you please!

Can I order a a Gift Card?

Yes, of course!

Our giftcards are called SAKE-DORU and you can get them by heading over to SakeBox Gift Cards.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Don’t worry, we’ve got your back.

We have a thing for beautiful packaging. Each SakeBox is lovingly wrapped by hand and comes to you gift—ready. All you have to do is take all the credit!

Can I add a personal message?

Sure thing.

We can add a handwrite a personal message for you on a complimentary notecard or on our SupaFine notecard. Simply enter your message in the Order Notes field at checkout and we’ll take care of the rest.

What's in a Gift SakeBox?

Your lucky recipient will receive your selection of SakeBox along with our Guided Tasting notecards. Beautifully wrapped in our gift-ready box.
